Miles

We drove 600 miles yesterday and ended up in Geneseo Il right on the border of Iowa. Saw some spectacular lightening storms along the way. Today we head toward Oklahoma. Sad to say we are bypassing Colorado. We decided it wouldn't be much fun due to all the huge fires.

Magical Sunsets

After the falls we headed down toward Pennsylvania. We stopped to camp in Ripley just on the border between NY and Penn right on lake Erie.It was really sweet. I can't believe we got a spot directly overlooking the lake. We were slow to leave this morning because it was so pretty. We finally got moving and are heading toward Chicago.

Misty Falls

We finally took off Weds Am and headed west on 90. Our first stop was Rochester , Ny. We spent some time with Matt a very fun friend that we haven't seen in a while. He put us up and we got to check out Rochester and the surrounding area. Went for a long walk at beautiful park with lots of wildlife. ( especially frogs and toads) It was fun to catch up and meet his lovely girlfriend. Then we took off for Nigara falls. It was gorgeous and misty.

Walking and Falling - Laurie Anderson (Big Science)

This is the inspiration for our Blog Title-
We plan to do quite a bit of Walking and Falling (and driving too)
And we love Laurie Anderson. Ok-now I will go pack up my tooth brush and hopefully get going.

We are heading out tomorrow on a quite a trip. If you want to find out what we are up keep checking in! Today we packed, cleaned and tried to organize every thing we would need for a long trip out West. The car has been overhauled by Bruce and we think we are ready to head out. We shall see......
